After having my money back from the boat company, I finally couldn't go back to El chalten to pass the border as I wanted,...( no more boat transfer to across the o' higgins lake,... the last of the year is today, ... and I will have miss it anyway) so I came bake to Punta arenas,... ( not a city where I' ve been to in the area) to take a plane to Cohaïque, witch is half of the way to puerto montt....

Now that I am here, I have to find a way to get away too,...I will go to Puerto Aisen tomorow morning. and check it out.

The area is huge, and need more than a lifetime to discover, no turism here.

21th of april.19.00 (here)

I arrived in Puerto aisen by 11.00am,...I lived my first earthquake by 01.00pm,... and it was a big one,... about 8. It is really impressive, ...I was actually on my ass. The all city was having lunch, when a close submarine volcano ( 25 km away )show his power to everybody.

 I am fine, people are affraid... talk about leaving,...even if the seism leave just a few sign of his presence... (broken street, unusable bridge, reverse river  waterside, and big landslides in the mountains around... ) all the houses are wooden made, and there is no gaz pipeline,... hopefully the city was very small. The army was here to help the population,... The fire brigade too,...

Everybody was in the street for a hour, I didn't have my shoes on,... ( you never know when it is going to happen) I don't know why, I thought (like in Amelie poulain) that at the same moment, in the all city, some persons were making love,...other were on the toilet ,...

I share a strong moment of these people tragedy,... A lots of experts from Santiago are staying here since january ( time of the first  small quake) but this was the one to worry about.

Well no victims apparently,...I do  have some picture,...for later,... but I did put the ones from yesterday ( it is a lot more work than taking them)
